Step 1: Discovery and Gathering Requirements

We start our process by sitting down with you to talk about what you need from your website -- things like what the purpose of your site is and who your target audience is. We'll also need to know if you have a date when the site needs to be launched and if you have a domain name and hosting.

After your Discovery meeting, we will have a good idea how to start organizing (or reorganizing) your website. Generating a content outline can make this process much quicker and allows us to structure your website precisely how you want it. (Click here to see an example content outline) After we have received your content outline, we will generate a site map of your reorganized site. (Click here to see an example site map)

We also like to use the influence of sites similar to yours to help get ideas flowing. If you like the way CNN displays their news stories, or you want to have a table similar to UVA's History Department, let us know.

What we give you:
Project Summary
Site Map
What we need from you:
Answers to the discovery questions
Content Outline
